academic year 2009-2010, we are going to shape this interesting Project.
Final purpose of Gujarat IT Student´s
Corner:
The purpose is to prepare a web
site to access to a knowledge base, where students may find some useful material
for academic purposes, related with their university degree.
We will create several knowledge bases, each one specific for different IT university/ college of Ahmedabad.
What will you find in every knowledge base?
- Examination papers of previous years for that university
- Solved assignments generally asked in that university
- Curriculum based learning/study material from the syllabus of that university
- New ideas for final year projects
- Some already developed final year projects
- Information for different official exams like CAT, GATE, SAT, etc...
- And many more interesting things...
Who is going to develop this project?
DELOGICO IT Members will develop this project.
DELOGICO IT Members will have the opportunity to enter in contact with professional IT world, through a practical and useful experience. All web pages and applications will be coded in most renowned software platforms.
Authors will be recognized. And the merits may be included in their CV.
Additionally they will have to promote the idea and collect contents from other classmates, even of different grades and different colleges.
So, the project will require not only software skills, but also proper management capacities. And specially will test the capacity of students to work as a team, and will give a measure of their leadership.
And, who will provide contents?
Contents and materials should be prepared with the collaboration of other classmates from their college, not only by DELOGICO IT Members.
Who will have access to the contents once web page is ready?
Not only DELOGICO IT Members, but other students of different years.
Who exactly? Further details and login and permission strategy should be developed as part of the project;
management team for this project will determine who will access to contents.
Then, what is the Role of DELOGICO?
DELOGICO wants to be the spark
that lights the fire.
Give to the project a truly professional level, in code and db architecture
plus modern and attractive look and feel. Of course, project will be guided and
supervised by DELOGICO senior employees.
Make the project stable and durable.
Offer premises and infrastructure to develop the project.
And to provide web hosting to all data and documents. And take periodical
backups for safety of all contents.
